+ This program is the FIRST FILM SCREENING ON FILM at BRIC and will include films by: Tomi Heady, Camila Restrepo, Richie Abraham, Hanna Utkin, Edgar Belsom, David Savage, Rebecca Posner, Juliana Cerqueira Leite, Jon Carter, Joshua Conkel, Lou Torres, Sarah Dahnke, Julie Orlick, and many more. 

A program of films completed through the workshop series and with the support of the organizations equipment / facilities.

Based in Brooklyn, MONO NO AWARE is a non-profit cinema-arts organization that works to promote connectivity through the cinematic experience by supporting the presentation, preservation and production of film.  MONO has a strong emphasis on education and exhibition of the moving image.  BRIC presents a screening program of films shot, processed and projected on Super 8mm and 16mm here in Brooklyn by participants of MONO workshops:  B/W 16mm films, 3D Puppet animation on 16mm Color film, Super 8mm cross processed films, and more. Discussion with the filmmakers and members of the community will be moderated by Steve Cossman - Founder/Director of the organization.

BRIC’s Stoop Series illuminates the arts and life around us in Brooklyn through artistic performances, presentations, participatory activities and dynamic conversations. Explore music, visual art, film, media, storytelling, comedy, and other creative fields.

BRIC (which stands for Brooklyn Information & Culture) is a nonprofit arts and media organization located in Brooklyn, New York City founded in 1979. Its original name was "Fund for the Borough of Brooklyn". In the fall of 2013, it opened a 66,000 square-foot renovated former vaudeville theater providing a gallery, an additional space for film screenings, lectures, and readings, and a flexible performance space which will showcase dance, music, and theater admission to which will be mostly under $20.
