FILM CARE PACKAGE INITIATIVE

In an effort to remain actively supportive of the film community during shelter in place orders, cinema-arts non-profit MONO NO AWARE launched an initiative called the Film Care Package Initiative.   This program mirrored our organization's well established in-person initiatives and will made use of our current facilities to mail film stock, publications / printed materials, small equipment and offer motion picture lab services by mail for free to a handful of recipients each week.

The packages were designed with traditional photo-chemical film in mind and acted as production-support micro-grants to assist photographers, filmmakers and artists of the moving image with their cultural practice.  If you are in a position to support the possibility of revitalizing this project, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to the organization here.
